If there is one thing that the Beta Iota chapter of Zeta Phi Eta excels, at is interning.
Our brothers are all over the Orlando intern scene using the skills they’ve learned through our fraternity to stand out. Out of 26 active brothers, 17 of us have internships. Not only are we learning crucial skills for our futures, but we are interning at some of the top companies in Orlando.
Some of the internships are:
Cox Media Group
The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando
UCF Legislative Scholars for Senate President Andy Gardiner
WESH 2 News
Our brothers know the importance of internships and making connections as a student. The skills we’ve learned from our fraternity, like our networking skills or impressive email etiquette, sets us apart from other interns.
The best thing about our brothers being connected? The networks of a brother quickly become the networks of our fraternity. There have been many instances within Beta Iota where a brother has gotten another brother an internship, either via direct recommendation or contact sharing.
Little things such as these make our brothers top contenders among their peers. We exert the most in our workplace and often leave internships with high recommendations and new internships awaiting them.
Some students are just in college to simply to get a degree. The brothers of Zeta Phi Eta intern and grow within those years to graduate with more than just a piece of paper in their hands.
